Ghana has sixteen regions and each one of them is unique and different in terms of modernization, character, architecture, vegetation, culture, tribe and history. Some regions also have interesting landmarks and historical sites.

Certain parts of the country are similar looking to other African countries, so it’s possible to set any other African country in Ghana. There are dry desert-like areas as well that could simulate a desert.There are several modern architectural buildings in the capital city of Accra, several landmarks and busy and vibrant markets. On the outskirts of the city are beaches, rivers, waterfalls, and the surrounding regions have remote villages with mud huts, thick green forests, forts and castles, and the remains of colonial towns with some colonial architectural buildings.

GEAR/CREW

Ghana has well equipped studios, gear rental houses with grip/light equipment including cranes and dollies and some upscale cameras. There are production vehicles, and prop and costume rental houses that can cater to all needs. Ghana has non-union crew that are on par with international training and experience, and have worked with some amazing American and European directors and cinematographers.

Equipment rentals

You can always bring your own gear, or we can find them in-country. Certain special equipments may have to be brought in or gotten from neighboring countries. In the case of bringing in ones own gear, we’ll thoroughly assist with the customs procedure as our country is currently working on setting in place an importation carnet.

Market Research for Producers

If you are looking to introduce a new product into the African market and want to shoot a TV commercial for it, we can advise on concept and other media related matters. We’re also capable of conducting some primary research including surveys and focus groups to give you an insight on what, who, where, why, when and how you can reach your targeted audiences.

Local Casting for Producers

In terms of casting, we have access to all the local stars as well us upcoming performers.

There’s also the option of organizing a casting call to find the perfect actors for your project.

Shooting Permits

Like any place, you’ll need film permits in order to shoot. We’ll take care of your accreditations, and all required permits with the government agencies
